Better work starts with understanding the problem.
Some organisations need clarity. Others need help making a change. Some are assessing where AI or automation belongs. You can engage HPC at the point that fits your situation.
See how the work happens. Understand where it breaks down.
When the same problem keeps returning, its cause may sit across several teams, decisions or systems. We examine a priority workflow with the people doing the work, looking at handoffs, ownership, exceptions and system dependencies.
This may be useful when
- Updates and approvals require repeated chasing.
- Work depends heavily on one experienced person.
- Teams describe the same problem differently.
- Existing systems no longer fit the way work happens.
Typical outputs
A current-state workflow map, bottleneck findings, clearer responsibilities and prioritised recommendations.
Workflow and Systems Diagnostic
A two-week engagement focused on one important workflow. Scope includes up to five stakeholder interviews or working sessions, workflow and exception mapping, root-cause findings, a review of supporting systems, and a practical 30–60 day improvement roadmap.
We close with a leadership readout and agree whether further work would be useful. Implementation is scoped separately.
Make the changes that help work move.
We help simplify processes, clarify handoffs and translate business needs into system requirements. Depending on the agreed scope, we support solution coordination, validation, user acceptance testing and handover.
This may be useful when
- The problem is known, but nobody has capacity to carry the improvement forward.
- Responsibilities become unclear between teams.
- A system change needs a clearer business requirement.
- An improvement needs coordination across business and technology teams.
Typical outputs
Redesigned workflows, agreed responsibilities, business requirements, prioritised changes and delivery support appropriate to the engagement.
Where specialist technical delivery is required, we agree the roles and dependencies before work begins.
Establish what is worth doing and what needs to be ready.
A useful opportunity needs a clear task, suitable information and a workable place in the process. We assess where AI or automation could support the work, what it would depend on and which decisions need human oversight.
This may be useful when
- Your team has several AI ideas but no clear priorities.
- A manual task looks suitable for automation.
- A pilot needs a stronger operational foundation.
- You need to understand the prerequisites before committing.
Typical outputs
An opportunity shortlist, a readiness assessment, process and data prerequisites, human review points and recommended next steps.
The recommendation may be a process change, conventional automation, a bounded AI pilot or further preparation.
What would you
like to work better?
A recurring delay. An unclear handoff. A process that takes too much effort. An AI initiative that needs a clearer starting point.
